I finally have made some of the animals Bundaberg is famous for, but in a smaller cuter version.
Again like my Happy Cactus Pincushion each guy gets a smile that is unique and gives him his own personality.
The first batch of little hatchling went off to the local art gallery gift shop, BRAG. But one little guy got to stay with us as Edina could not part with him.
Here is some exciting news from Wen Crafting.
The Bundaberg Regional Art Gallery Gift Shop now has a small range of my crochet gifts for sale.
I have to admit I was thrilled when contacted out of nowhere asking if I would like to stock my items in the gift shop. For the next 3 months my items would be on display in the hope some might sell. My excitement turned into a little happy dance when I was asked for more stock after two weeks. So Little Miss and I drop some more stock off today and had a look through the Gift shop.
If you are a Bundaberg local and are enjoying a visit to the Art Gallery, drop into the gift shop to check out my and other local crafters/artist items.
My sister has turned the grand age of 40.
That is how I was going to leave this post but thought I better not, she is helpful to have around. So I will share a little bit of love here and show you what I gave her for her Birthday.
Now I was thinking that turning 40 may be hard on her and me making this wonderful gift will help her through it. I got my inspiration once again from pinterest. There are lots of ideas for turning 30 so I just added 10 years and a couple of items that suited Tanya.
Give yourself a makeover- makeup
Have a sleep over- PJ’s
Dance the night away- Shoes(Tanya has a small shoes addiction)
Play dress ups- Jewellery
Take hours in the bathroom- Bath salts
Have a facial- Avocado
Build a sandcastle at the beach- Beach bag (hand bag addiction also)
Pig out on lollies & Get a new hair do.
And finally a bottle of wine and glass- When all else fails have a glass of wine.
Happy Birthday Tanya.
